He has said that if England has baseball then India also has Viratball in the form of Virat Kohli.
England's style of playing Test cricket has changed from the year 2022. Since Brendon McCullum became the coach and Ben Stokes became the captain, English batsmen have been playing in a very aggressive manner in Test cricket. This game style has been named 'Baseball'. Playing in this style, England has entertained the sports lovers by making surprising comebacks in many test matches.

On this playing style of England, Gavaskar says, 'Virat Kohli has almost equal number of centuries and half-centuries in Test cricket. That means his rate of converting average innings into big innings is very good. At the moment, the way he is batting is amazing. Looking at the form he is in, we can say that we have a great ball to deal with England's baseball.
While talking to Star Sports, Gavaskar said, 'The England team has been playing with an aggressive attitude for some time. He just wants to play aggressive cricket, he doesn't care what the conditions are. Now it will be interesting to see whether his playing style works against the spinners in India or not.
