IPL 2024: The condition of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the current season of the Indian Premier League is not at all good. Now veteran cricketer Brian Lara has discussed the recent performance of RCB and their chances of victory against Mumbai Indians. Raising an important issue, Lara said that Royal Challengers Bangalore are still struggling to make a good team combination, but they should pay more attention to the local players.
Brian Lara said, “This is the right time for Mumbai Indians to face RCB as they have improved in some aspects. Suryakumar is back in the team, although he could not score runs in the first match, but his arrival MI has become stronger as a team. RCB is still searching for the best team combination. Talking about Mahipal Lomror, he has done everything well as an impact player. According to me, RCB should focus more on local players. Yes, they have Virat Kohli, but unless the local players do well, you cannot win the IPL trophy. I want to see these youngsters playing in pressure situations.”

RCB performance in IPL 2024
In the opening match of IPL 2024, Royal Challengers Bangalore lost to CSK. In the next match, they won against Punjab Kings, but after that RCB has scored a hat-trick of defeats. For this reason the team is at 9th position in the points table with only 2 points. Virat Kohli is continuously performing well, having scored 316 runs at an average of more than 105 in just 5 matches.
