Wesley Madhevere & Brandon Mavutua Ban: Last month, Zimbabwean players Wesley Madhewere and Brandon Mavutua were accused of using banned drugs. After which the test confirmed the use of banned drugs by both of them. Now Zimbabwe cricket team has taken big action. Wesley Madhevere and Brandon Mavutua have been banned. Both the cricketers will not be able to play cricket for 4 months. At the same time, Wesley Madhevere and Brandon Mavutua admitted to using banned drugs before the investigating committee. Dope test of both the cricketers was done in the month of December last year.
What did the Zimbabwe Cricket Board say?
Apart from this, 50 percent marks have been awarded to Wesley Madhevere and Brandon Mavutua. Both the cricketers will have to pay 50 percent of their salary as fine. Zimbabwe Cricket Board has issued a statement. The statement said that Zimbabwe Cricket works on a policy of zero tolerance on drugs and banned drugs. Our committee found that the drugs used by Wesley Madhevere and Brandon Mavutua are prohibited. Therefore, this is a serious crime, and both the cricketers broke the rules. We have got a bad name because of Wesley Madhevere and Brandon Mavutua.

The blame will also fall on Kevin Kasuza!
Apart from Wesley Madhewere and Brandon Mavutua, Kevin Kasuza was accused of using banned drugs. Kevin Kasuza had failed in the dope test last month. After which Kevin Kasujja has been banned from cricket activities for the time being. However, the final decision on Kevin Kasuza will be taken after the hearing.
