Forward of the upcoming Emmy Awards nominations being revealed, Sandra Oh and Awkwafina chatted with PEOPLE about their hit 2023 Hulu sister comedy and shared that they’d be right down to make a sequel — or something collectively.

“I might f—— love that,” says Oh, 52, who just lately starred in The Sympathizer on HBO and is at present showing in a manufacturing of The Welkin Off-Broadway.

Whereas Awkwafina, 36, says she is not positive “the place the story would go” after the primary movie, she would “in fact” do a sequel and thinks she and Oh “might pull it off, for positive.”

“I might actually give my arms to work with Sandra once more,” says the Loopy Wealthy Asians actress, whose actual identify is Nora Lum. “She’s such a tremendous collaborator. She’s taught me a lot.”

“And if it is not this, we should always simply take these characters and simply put them in one other dimension or one thing, like a Invoice and Ted’s form of factor,” Awkwafina provides.

“Anne and Jenny are the 2 civilians who go up in house on some sci-fi factor,” Oh continues. “There’s so many [ideas]. It might go on and on and on. I simply really feel the power.”

Directed by Jessica Yu and written by Jen D’Angelo, Quiz Girl has had an emotional influence on each of its stars — together with in the way in which followers have reacted to the story.
