Aruna talked about working with stars like Rajesh Khanna, Shatrughan Sinha and Amitabh Bachchan, she told that she got along well with Rajesh Khanna. But his bonding with Amitabh and Shatrughan was nothing special.
Amitabh lived separately
Talking about Rajesh Khanna, Aruna told Zoom Entertainment, 'Rajesh was a good actor. He was very nice to me. People were very afraid of him. But not me. He used to call me 'Ben'. He used to say, 'Hey Ben, let's eat, it's time.'
What Aruna told about Amitabh was a bit surprising. He said, 'Amit ji was very isolated from the beginning. He just used to spend time in his room or vanity van. I have not seen him being friendly with anyone.
Aruna did not become friends with Shatrughan
Aruna said about Shatrughan Sinha, 'I never had a very good friendship with him. But we would talk sometimes. While talking, Aruna further said, 'I got along well with heroines also. I don't know why she liked me.
Earlier in an interview with Rediff, Aruna had said that Amitabh was a very polite man, who would always call back no matter how busy he was. He had said, 'As an actor he was a legend. And when I worked with him in Bombay to Goa, he was not famous. But now that he has earned so much name, he is still the same. He doesn't have any kind of attitude problem. Aruna had also said that if she had been in the place of Amitabh Bachchan, she would have achieved so much success. He further said, 'I doubt that no one can ever take Amit ji's place.'
