Himangi Sakhi will contest from his parliamentary constituency Varanasi to challenge Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Himangi Sakhi is the declared candidate of All India Hindu Mahasabha from Varanasi Lok Sabha seat. On March 27, the Uttar Pradesh unit of the Mahasabha had announced the candidates for 20 Lok Sabha seats of Uttar Pradesh. The name of eunuch Mahamandaleshwar Himangi Sakhi from Varanasi parliamentary constituency was also included in this. Himangi Sakhi, who is contesting elections from Varanasi, said that she has entered the field for the rights of eunuchs.

Voting is to be held in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's parliamentary constituency Varanasi in the seventh phase of the Lok Sabha elections to be held in the country. Despite the elections being held in the last round, the election stir and people's interest in Varanasi parliamentary constituency is increasing. This was seen once again because Kinnar Mahamandaleshwar Himangi Sakhi has announced to contest against Narendra Modi.

'Hindu Mahasabha President had a special conversation with 'Aaj Tak'

Himangi Sakhi is going to contest elections from Varanasi on behalf of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha. Uttar Pradesh President of Hindu Mahasabha, Rishi Kumar Trivedi told in a special conversation with 'Aaj Tak' that even before this, Mahasabha had fielded its candidates in the last assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. However, the nominations of both Geeta Rani from Varanasi South Assembly and Jaya Srivastava from North Assembly were canceled by the Election Commission citing errors in the form.

'The name of Kinnar Mahamandaleshwar Himangi Sakhi from Varanasi'

He told that on March 27, the names of candidates for 20 seats of Uttar Pradesh were announced by his Mahasabha. In this, the name of eunuch Mahamandaleshwar Himangi Sakhi from Varanasi is also included. He further said that till now the names of his party's candidates have been announced on 24 seats from Uttar Pradesh. Rishi Trivedi also told that Himangi Sakhi ji herself wanted to contest elections from Varanasi and she is also a devotee of Baba Vishwanath.

'Will reach Varanasi on 12th April and take blessings of Baba Vishwanath'

Therefore, it has been decided to contest the elections from there and on 12th April, she will reach Varanasi and also take the blessings of Baba Vishwanath. He told that his organization has played an important role in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement and has also been the main party. But the Bharatiya Janata Party government rejected the Hindu Mahasabha, leaving aside including it in the Trust. He told that the aim of his organization is to awaken the Hindu public, whereas this government takes people's votes in the name of Hinduism and Sanatan.

Candidate Himangi Sakhi said this

Himangi Sakhi, the declared candidate of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha from Varanasi, said that she is contesting elections for the Kinnar community for the first time. She wants that seats should be reserved for eunuchs in the Lok Sabha and Assembly and the eunuch community can also express their views. Even today the transgender community is forced to earn their livelihood either by begging or by engaging in prostitution. The government has not paved any way for the transgender community to move forward. She further told that she will go to Kashi on 12th April and after having darshan of Baba Vishwanath, she will also address the media.
