Rishabh Pant and McGurk scored 61 runs in the next 24 balls and in this span of 4 overs, both of them together hit 5 skyscraper sixes and 4 fours. But with the dismissal of McGurk in the 15th over and Rishabh Pant in the very next over, the match seemed stuck. There was a partnership of 77 runs between Pant and McGurk. Delhi needed only 10 runs in 3 overs. Shay Hope and Tristan Stubbs did not hurry and ensured Delhi's victory by 6 wickets with 11 balls remaining. Kuldeep Yadav, while bowling for Delhi Capitals, broke the back of LSG's batting line-up. His bowling of Nicholas Pooran was the most memorable moment of the match. He took 3 wickets for just 20 runs in 4 overs.
Young players dominated the match
Young players dominated this match between Lucknow and Delhi. Earlier, Lucknow had lost 7 wickets for just 74 runs, but after that Ayush Badoni scored 55 runs in 35 balls and Arshad Khan also scored 20 runs in 16 balls, taking Lucknow to the score of 167 runs. Meanwhile, Arshad Khan also impressed with his line, length and speed in bowling. On the other hand, from Delhi side, Jake Fraser McGurk played a brilliant inning of 55 runs in his debut match and contributed significantly to his team's victory.
