There were reports that Congress may field him against AIMIM's Mohammad Azharuddin on the Hyderabad seat. But now in the interview given to BBC, he has completely put a stop to these speculations. As soon as Sania Mirza was asked a question about entering politics, she replied in the negative. He says that all this was a rumor and he himself did not know anything about it.
Sania Mirza said, “No, these were just rumors and I don't know who started these rumours. After seeing it in the newspaper itself, I came to know that such news was being made about me. I had actually just started talking about politics. “I haven't thought about anything till now, but nothing is impossible in life. Right now, no thoughts are coming to my mind regarding this decision.”
